Risaalah Foundation is a UK-based Islamic education and da‘wah initiative led by Dr Emranul Haque, a British Muslim scholar, economist, educator, Islamic finance expert, speaker, and community leader.
Through seminars, khutbahs, online classes, leadership training, youth and family programmes, Islamic finance education, and community guidance, we help Muslims navigate contemporary life with faith, clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Our work is rooted in Islamic knowledge and shaped by the real questions people face today: family, identity, spirituality, leadership, wealth, work, community, and living confidently as Muslims in modern society.

Risaalah Foundation was established to make Islamic guidance more accessible, practical, and relevant for Muslims living in today’s world.
We believe Islam gives light, direction, and balance for every part of life. Through the work of Dr Emran and the wider Risaalah platform, we aim to help individuals, families, young people, professionals, and community organisations reconnect with that guidance in a meaningful way.
Our teaching is rooted in mainstream Sunni Islamic tradition and focuses on applying Qur’anic guidance and Prophetic wisdom to contemporary challenges with wisdom, compassion, and confidence.

Dr Emranul Haque
Dr Emranul Haque is a British Muslim scholar, Associate Professor of Economics at The University of Manchester, Islamic finance expert, educator, motivational speaker, mentor, and community leader.
For more than three decades, he has been teaching, mentoring, speaking, and serving Muslim communities across the UK and internationally.
What makes Dr Emran’s work especially valuable is the way he brings together Islamic scholarship, academic insight, community experience, and practical guidance. His lectures and training programmes help people understand Islam not only as knowledge, but as a way to live with clarity, responsibility, and confidence.

Risaalah Foundation supports educational projects that make Islamic knowledge more accessible to Muslim communities.
Since 2022, Risaalah Foundation has supported the distribution of The Majestic Quran, an accessible English translation by Dr Musharraf Hussain Al Azhari.
Through this initiative, copies have been distributed in UK cities including Manchester, Nottingham, and London, helping more people access the message and guidance of the Qur’an in clear English.
